Adding Bling to a Wedding Dress

I have found a dress I love but it is lacking bling.  How difficult would it be for me to add the bling? Who could I pay to have the bling added?

If you want a beaded/crystal sash as pp mentioned or a brooch to attach to the side (or center if you havem say, a deep sweetheart & like that look) I"d have a seamstress take care of it, yes, but I'd look on etsy for great deals.

Depending on the style of your dress and your personal taste, a sash or a brooch could add just the right touch of bling - and less stress, too, since it's a pretty easy thing to add (or take off if you decide you don't like it afterall).   Could you post a pic of your dress?  I'd love to see it! 

What would you think about adding some bling to your overall outfit, rather than just the dress? Something like adding jewelry or a sparkly headpiece or veil, or outrageous (in a good way) shoes?  No matter what, you'll have a dress that is uniquely you. 

If what you have in mind would be more along the lines of having sequins/beads/rhinestones sewn or attached to your dress, be forewarned that that could be expensive!  It's really labor intensive to attach all those tiny little bits of bling to a dress.

I agree that sometimes the best way to add bling to a look is by adding jewelry.
