Pregnant Groom's Attendant - What to wear?!

Hello there fellow brides!

I recently found out that my fiance's sister is 10 weeks pregnant! Of course, this is exciting news, but she is one of my fiance's attendants (not the best man) which brings us to my issue: What should I have her wear? She will be 5 months pregnant on the wedding day. As of now, she wanted to be in a tux like the other guys ... will she still fit into one at 5 months?

It's going to really depend on how much she shows at this point.  I have friends who are 5 months along that look 8-9 months along, and I have friends that are 6 months that you'd never be able to tell, so it's going to be individual.

I would leave it until closer to the wedding and see how big she is.  If she's too big for a tux, just have her buy a black dress she's comfortable in.

If she wants to wear a tux, she just needs to find a maternity style.  If it's not easily available and she doesn't want to spend the money to have one modified for maternity wear, a floor length black dress (if it's an evening wedding) would be a good alternative.

As an aside ... how did outfitting her become your job?  Usually, the groom is "in charge" of outfitting his attendants.  Don't you have enough to do coordinating your attendants' outfits?
