scuffing up shoes

Hi guys!

I always scuff up the soles of new heels on purpose before I wear them the first time so they're not too slippery.  but I am hesitant to do it w/ my wedding shoes because I want them to be pretty and new looking for pics.

Are you guys scuffing yours up?  if not, any suggestions to make them less slippery?

I was thinking about scuffing up the soles of mine too.  I don't think the soles will show much in photos.

You could get some Sole Stopperz. They're made by the Foot Petals brand.

I did ... by wearing them while doing laundry.

I've been wearing mine to pack up to move and clean, and dance, and you name it! i have to walk down 3 flights of old stone staircases and i'd rather not fall, lol.
