We are getting married on a small ship on Lake Superior next summer (reception elsewhere). The deck where the ceremony is performed only holds 30 people (close friends and immediate family) and does not have room for a wedding party to stand beside us. As a result, we have decided all of the guests on board should be our "wedding party" and we would like them to coordinate. We would like to ask the guys to have a matching tie, white dress shirt, but can wear their own suits. As for the girls, we would like them to choose their own dresses, but with certain criteria....dresses should be short and can be of the following colors: black, taupe and plum. Most of them live out of town and i would like to send a card/letter asking them to join us. How should I word this?
PS I have purchased nail polish in taupe and plum for them to use as a guideline...and early gift.
