Do BMs need necklaces?

I just got to wondering whether or not BMs need necklaces. I'm on a really tight budget and can't even afford a cheap one for eight of them. Is it ok for them to have nothing on their necks?

Why not just have them wear jewelry they already have? I would think most would have either simple gold or silver necklaces, whichever looks better with your color chosen. Or, of course, they can wear nothing at all.

I agree. Ask them to choose their own necklaces! Let their individuality shine through and keep them from having a cookie-cutter look. 

Ps: They definitely don't need necklaces and can just go with a simple pair of earrings or a single sparkly bracelet. Simple is more elegant and can make a statement as much as wearing a necklace. A lot of bridesmaid dresses look best with no necklace.

I would just let them wear whatever jewelry they want.  It's much easier that way.

Let them wear whatever they own. I promise no one will notice their necklaces.

My BMs wore jewelry of their own choice and it was totally mismatched and looked great!  One wore a pearl set, one wore a silver chain with a crystal pendant and the last wore a silver necklace with purple crystal flowers (our colors were purple and white).
