Love my dress but...

I bought my dress before we even decided on the venue. Now that we have our outdoor venue space I feel like my dress is WAY to fancy. My question is can I still wear my dream dress even thought it may not fit the casualness of the venue?

In general, formality should match, but I don't think the bride can ever really be overdressed. Stick with the gown you love.

Even if your dress is formal, you can often make it look more relaxed with the right accessories, if you want.

Totally agree, if you love it and are comfortable wear it.  Also, outdoor weddings can still be more formal.

I bought a fancier dress than normal for my semi-formal garden wedding.  But you know what?  It is totally me more so than the softer looking dresses.

I did some second guessing, but the dress is me.
