any personal experience with...

http://www.dresstimes.com/home.php

i recently FOUND THE DRESS of my dreams... but sadly cannot afford the Kleinfeld's NY Price of well over 5,000 dollars and thats without any alterations. I knew going to Kleinfelds wasn't going to be "cheap" 3k I could work with but over 5k NOT SO MUCH.

I love the dress so very much that i'm willing to take a chance on a website that can reproduce the look for about 500.00 I'm familiar with the saying you get what you pay for .... but i also only get what I"M PAID! so if anyone has had an personal expierence with this website or has been in my same situation and used maybe another site to get a remake of their dream dress. I WOULD greatly appriciate the help!

THANKS SO MUCH !

  • I would check Ebay, and any of the other preowned wedding dress sites before using a replication site like that.  There's just too much of a chance that something (anything) could go wrong.  If your dress is from a year or two ago, you should be able to get a great price on it, even if it's new.
  • You'll get a crappy knockoff that will be nothing like the original.

Maybe meet with a seamstress and see what she could do to re-create the dress?

Or like pp said, check pre-owned sites.

  • I've seen SO MANY complaints about these "knock off" sites. Truly, find something similar for a reasonable price, or talk to a seamstress or find it on ebay.
