what to wear to keep warm for my upcoming wedding end of March 2012

I was hoping someone could help me.  I am wearing the Casablanca 2004 wedding gown in ivory.  I am the type of person that is always cold.  Our photos will be taken outdoors and at the reception since we are not having our wedding in a church.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could wear with this dress?  thanks in advance for your help! Love the back - it is stunning!  I got married last April.  It was 30 and snowed (loved our snow pics, btw).  We took a lot of pics outdoors (we also had our wedding at the same location as the reception).  I was surprised how warm my dress kept me (just a layer of lace and a layer of satin - no underskirts).  We ducked in a couple times to warm up but I was fine (and I am usually cold, too).  I didn't have a wrap or sweater of any kind.

  • I attended a snowy January wedding 2 years minus 2 days ago, and the bride wore a long cape like Little Red Riding Hood's, but in ivory. It'd be super-simple to make, either by a friend or family member, or a professional.
  • ILoveMilkDuds - You look beautiful in your dress and your wedding photos are amazing!  Thank you for the great suggestions!

I got little faux fur jackets for myself and my MOH at Herberger's - they're Calvin Klein and really reasonably priced (only $60 on sale), Mine is ivory and my MOH's is black:
