I have been so lucky, and my wedding has come together beautifully. We are still 100 days out, and most everything has been booked, purchased, and taken care of. It's all been easy.
Except for my dress.
I had planned to wear a simple dress. We are having an indoor garden wedding in NYC followed by a reception in a vintage carriage house, so I was planning for a vintage NY kind of look.
However, when shopping for my dress with my mother, I ended up purchasing a completely different kind of dress, and I am freaking out! I worry that it's all wrong for the venues, and that's it way too ostentatious for me. I don't dislike it, but when I'm in the store, all the other brides are screaming, "I love my dress!", and I'm just not having that reaction.
I've included a picture. What do you all think? Is it too much for an indoor garden wedding? What would you do if you bought a dress but weren't completely in love with it? Help!
