Can junior groomsmen wear something different from groom and groomsmen?

My fh wants to have his 2 newfews in the wedding ages 16 and 10.  Their father is the best man.  he is unable to buy his outfit along with buying the boys clothes. So it is more than likely going to turn out that we will have to purchase their outfits if we want them in the wedding. Our colors are royal blue and white. So far the idea that I came up with is having the boys wear royal blue dress shirts, ties, and slacks. The mens suits are going to be royal blue but are going to have a pattern to them. Would this look okay.  If anyone has any other ideas I am open  for suggestions.

  • That sounds fine. Jr. Bridesmaids often wear something slightly different from BMs, so I think Jr. GM attire can fall into the same category.

  • The nephews can wear whatever you want. The nephews don't have to dress exactly like the groom or the older groomsmen. Nobody in the bridal party has to be dressed a certain way. The only "rule" (and even that is breakable since it won't hurt anyone) is to keep everyone on the same basic level of formality (so tuxedos and bikinis wouldn't work).
