I'm thinking of having "latte" colored bridesmaid dresses, does that mean the men have to wear brown tuxes or would it look ok with black?

Black will look fine.  The tuxes all our guys were rented were black, including my dad.  My mom wore a brown dress, so we picked a multi-colored brown striped tie for my dad and brown pocket squares.  It looked great together, and the pictures of the 2 of them in brown and black looked great.
