After much deliberation I had to push my wedding back until next April. In doing that I've decided to completely overhaul my color scheme. It went from ivory and scarlett red to ivory and light blue. When I changed colors I started to look around at potential bridesmaids dresses on the Bill Levkoff website and I found some options that I liked in just playing around with their dress generator.
this one for my fiancee's sister and
for my best friend who is my maid of honor. I'll possibly be only be having them as my bridesmaids.
There are two dilemma's I am having. First, I know that wedding fashion is dependent upon time of day and year of the wedding. For an evening wedding the colors may not be appropriate, but I love these looks and I think they would look really good in both dresses.
The second dilemma is, when I showed my mother what I had in mind, she tried her best to sway me from having them wear ivory. I'm not really a traditionalist. Actually, I'm a part-time traditionalist. Things like bridesmaids wearing white in the wedding don't bug me. But is this something I should do and would it look good?
