WideDress.com experiences? Scam?

I've found a dress I absolutely love on WideDress.com. Their dresses are SO cheap. I started googling for feedback on their site and couldn't find much except for 2 or 3 posts in various places saying the site is a scam and they either don't ship your dress or the dress you get is horrible quality. 

If a site was truly a scam I'd expect to find more than a few posts complaining about it. At the same time, I don't necessariliy want to test the waters myself! 

Has anyone ever ordered a dress from www.WideDress.com?

If you look their photos are water marked with bridalweddinggown.ca, which pops up a lot of scam alerts.

I actually ordered 2 dresses from this site about a month ago now and just received the dresses last week.  One was for my mom and the other for myself for my brothers wedding.  My dress turned out great....my  mom's dress, not so much.  It was suppsed to be taffeta and come to me in satin and it was so poorly put together it's not even wearable.  I contacted customer service the day I received the dresses to complain and they had me take pictures and email them with what was wrong with the dress.  So I did.  They're response was sorry for the imperfections and that I could mail the dress back with me paying the cost.  I told them no and then they tried to say they would give me a 20% refund without having to return the dress and I said no.  Then it was a 30% refund without having the return the dress.  I still told them no.  Then they came back and said that they would retailer another dress for me if I paid $30!  I told them no way in hell!  I pretty much told them that I'm thinking of contacting someone legally because they are using false advertisement to sell dresses that they cannot make and then they are ripping off the customers in the end.  DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Pleaaaaase, please post a complaint to the BBB so that other consumers like myself can be warned about them!  I was also attempting to look up reviews after browsing their site, but could not find many.  I noticed that the only payment methods they accept are the ones promoted by terrorist money launderers and scammers.  I would NEVER again use PayPal after 4 years of buyer/seller horror story experience, and the other two payment methods are a joke!

Without first doing research I ordered from widedress.com a dress that is perfect for our upcoming beach wedding. The very next day the site was down- gone- vanished. So I got to looking around and the very few reviews I found pointed toward scam so I contacted my bank, who told me they are a legitimate company. Now 2 weeks past my order date I get a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. To a dress being shipped to ILLINOIS. I live in ALASKA. The online chat is a JOKE. and I am still waiting for a response from their email. I have already purchased another dress elsewhere. Please, save yourself the hassel and spend the extra money on the dress. I'm certainly not holding my breath on ever seeing this dress.

I'd LOVE to be able to report these people to BBB but I don't even know how to go about reporting a company that is in China.  Do I just do it through our BBB or do they have a special website?  Any help you can offer me to help stop these people from selling would be GREATLY appreciated!

I ordered a dress from there in feburary, with my event being in the end of March. It was supposed to come within three weeks, and it never showed up. I had to go and buy a different dress, and all my money that was payed for the Widedress.com was lost. I  have consistantly messaged them, and there is NO phone number to call. I thought it would be safe, because I went through paypal, but it wasn't. Now, it is saying that site never existed. IT IS A HUGE SCAM, DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I decided to order an evening dress from widedress.com just to see for myself if they did a good job or not.  It was $79.00 so I figured it was worth the gamble.  I gave them my exact measurements and received the dress in about a month's time.  It is actually a company in Hong Kong which is part of the reason for how long it takes to get it.  They did a good job and it fits me perfectly.  They didn't put a hook and eye above the zipper in the back which made it hard for my fiance to zip it up, but I took it to a local tailor to put one in and it's great.  I probably won't get my wedding dress from there, though - just in case there is anything wrong.  It would be difficult sending it back and forth to Hong Kong and time consuming.  I did have a good experience though and their prices might be worth the gamble for you if you have time and can order it early.
