please VOTE on which headpiece...(pics included!)

OK, so I've narrowed it down to 2 choices.
I'm having a rock and roll theme wedding. Here are pics of my dress, full view plus the half shot with the actual belt/flower,....2 choices for headpices, one is a birdcage w fascinator, the other just a headband.  Do not let price influence your decision (they are widely different and either is fine with me)

ok so choice #1

or choice #2

  • I'm biased because I love birdcage but I think that will work best for you.
  • I love the birdcage but to be honest thought the headband was a great option too. It all depends, if you get the birdcage, are you going to leave it on through the reception & will you be ok with the veil part being kind of in your face with dancing? If you're just going to take the birdcage one off for dancing then go with headband which will be comfortable all night. Or if there is budget for it, wear veil for ceremony & change into heaband for reception.
  • do you like sparkle or drama? =)

the birdcage would be an overall great look -- but like PP said, might get in the way at the reception, and then you'd be left with plain hair.

the sparkle could be worn all day/night.

you COULD do the birdcage for the ceremony, and then get a cheaper sparkle hair clip for the reception (orrrrr buy both items you chose)

</div><div>Our reception is pretty low key...we are having a dinner/reception at our favorite restaurant (its a sports bar in Toledo where bands play, great food, our fav beer on tap etc) so I know I won't be wearing the veil then for sure, I had planned on taking it off.</div><div>

  • definitely # 2!
  • I think if you're having a more low key wedding, you should go with the headband. It is less dramatic and won't take away from the pop of your pretty pink and orange flower.

  • I agree with option 2 and  depending on how it's put together, you may be able to take off the birdcage veil so you can just keep the bling, otherwise you can simply reposition it further up for the reception with a few hairpins so it doesn't drive you crazy.
  • Birdcages are my weakness.. ilove 2. plus it looks more bridal
