David's Bridal Bridesmaid Dress Dilemma

So I have 4 bridesmaids one of which is pregnant  so I was going to take everyone to David's Bridal to look at dresses before my bridesmaid is due on 09 July 2010.  I was then going to have the bridesmaids order the dresses in the fall.  My wedding is 20 Feb 2011. 

Today I went to David's Bridal and they said that they are coming out with their new line in July/August and some of the colors styles might be discontinued.  I am not sure what to do. I would think dark purple would be a pretty safe bet but I am not sure if I should wait to the fall to have everyone look or ask that they order their dresses now.  I dont want to end up with girls with different color dresses.   Unfortunately David's Bridal said they cant tell me the new colors/styles or which ones will be discontinued.  Anyone have any insight on this or suggestions?

And wouldn't you want to wait until after your BM gives birth to have her start trying on dresses, her size will drastically change between now and the end of the year.

Start looking again in Sept like PP suggested. That will still be 5 months before your wedding and plenty of time

Why aren't you waiting if one of your BM is due in July & you aren't having your wedding unti 2011?? That's a ways away still.  So I would just hang tight & wait until August or September. It shouldn't take them that long to get the dresses in.

Yes, wait I was in that same boat (minus the pregnant BM) as we live out of state and I wanted to go with my girls. We decided on the dresses in Jan (due to this same reason of the colors/patterns changing) and they ordered them in March or so on their own and now they are all in. Since you are not getting married in a prime wedding month, they probably won't take that long to come in, so you will be fine on time.
