Crinoline

Hi Girls,

Sorry if this has been discussed to death already but I'm wondering if you would normally wear a crinoline with a mermaid dress?

Is there a special crinoline you need to buy or just the regular kind is fine?

The girl at the bridal salon said you don't wear one but I've read differently so I just want to clarify.

In general, any 'poufy' dress.  A line, ball gown, etc.  I don't know at what point a dress stops being a fit and flare and starts being a mermaid, but they make fit and flare crinolines as well, they hug your hips and then flare out below.
