**Long story short - what do you think of the shirt tie combo in the picture?**
My dress is "light gold" (I'd call it cream, it's a little more yellow than the ivory dresses). I've seen pictures of ivory with ivory and ivory with white, and I think both are fine. We are doing black suits (which some of the guys already own), so I'd rather do white shirts since they are more likely to have one and won't have to buy cream colored shirts.
I was thinking of having FI wear a white shirt (to match the groomsmen) and then this sort of ivory & white striped tie (to match me). The rest of the guys will be wearing purple ties to match the bridesmaid dresses.
