I will be needing approx. 3 1/2 inches taken off the bottom of the dress. Has anyone else bought this dress from DB's and had them alter it? My first thoughts is that they would remove the length by removing the sash, pulling the 2 layers up, then reattaching the sash, but my local DB wants to take it directly from the bottom- which doesn't seem right. Thoughts?? TIA!
