Hmm..did they not charge me correctly?

I went to my local bridal salon today since they were still having the 14% off accessories sale.

I found a shoe I loved.  Low heel, VERY comfortable and I really liked the suede bottom so they didn't have that tap tap sound when I walked.  Seemed liked a really quality shoe for $50 plus I got 14% off!

So here is where I'm confused...I looked online for a picture to put in my wedding folder.  It's the Angela Nuran Eternity shoe and they retail in the $200 range.  How did I only get charged $43?  The bridal shop is an authroized retailer, that was the first thing I checked.

Do you think they charged me for the wrong shoe?  Or maybe it was heavily discounted because it had been shop worn?  They didn't mention it being discounted.  I'd hate to think I got away with something I shouldn't have!

[QUOTE]$50 with 14% taken off is $43.    I'm not sure I understand why you are confused.

The shoe retails around $200, I only got charged $43 after the 14% discount which means it only had a $50 pricetag for something that should of had a $200 price tag.

You can tell the shoe had been tried on a few times.  The gold lettering inside the shoe was worn a bit, other than that, perfect condition.  Seems like an extreme discount for something like that.  That is why I am questioning whether they undercharged me for them or not.

But I am starting to think they just wanted to get rid of them as she had me take those home instead of ordering them.  It's been a lucky week for me, so I will keep it at that!

    <div>Makes sense now.  </div><div>
</div><div>I generally don't question when stores offer amazing discounts, I just go with it.  The discount was probalby because they had been worn/tried on and showed noticeable (though insignificant) wear, or because they are being moved out to make room for new stock.   Regardless, it sounds like you got an awesome deal :-)</div>

  • Sounds like the shoes were last season maybe and they were trying to move stock.  I wouldn't worry about it.  Maybe items are advertised as retailing for $x, but actually sell for much less than X.  Sounds like you got a good deal on shoes you love, enjoy!
