My wedding dress has straps but I have always wanted a sweetheart neckline so I'm getting it altered. However, the back of the dress, without the straps, looks extremely odd with flaps on the sides and a square-ish open back. The seamstress I took it to gave me the option shown above in the first picture. I think it looks kind of prom-like to me and would LOVE to find a different way to make the back of the dress not look so strange. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
