Hi! I am getting married in September and have requested that all of my bridesmaids get this beautiful dress (link)for the wedding. From the ones that have come in so far, I LOVE IT! It is made well and is picture perfect, as well as affordable. BUT, my Maid of Honor has recently gotten pregnant and will be 8.5 months pregnant at my wedding! I really want all of the bridesmaids to look uniform and have this dress but the fact that she is not going to know her exact measurements at the time of the wedding, it will be hard to find one that not only looks like this one, but is of the same quality. Is there anyway there could be a custom dress made for her that could possibly make room for an ever-growing baby bump? Maybe if the top part of the dress stops right under the chest, and the poofy part begins higher so her belly can kind of be masked? Any suggestions or any help is VERY WELCOME from anyone. Thank you!

Well, you need to look at the bright side- it is pretty traditional for the MOH to wear something different than the other bridesmaids. I would suggest you having her wear a maternity appropriate dress in a white color so you can have it color matched to your other girls dresses. The style of the dress you chose is not going to work on a nearly full term body. 

My MOH also was surprised with a pregnancy. She is due the week of our wedding. I am very excited for her- but unfortunately she can not attend because we live 2000 miles apart and she will not be allowed to fly that far along.

But they are naming the baby after me

Being 8 1/2 months pregnant is not going to do for a dress like that.  Her bump will make it way too short.  Start looking for another dress that will compliment new body or she will look like a pregnant prostitute.  DB or AA should have something that will work.

A lot of people do a different dress for the maid of honor.  Some do a different color some a completely different style.  Get creative and it should turn out even better!

Yes, it is possible to have a dress custom-made to match .. it depends upon how much money you are willing to spend.  It's tough to predict how much one's body will change throughout pregnancy.  I agree with PP, your MOH's dress can be different than the other ladies' dresses.  I hope that helps.

I'm going to got out on the limb. I think this is a vendor because

1) The link is to a knockoff site
2) It's their 2nd post and they already know how to make a clicky
3) If the BM will be 8 1/2 months in September she's already 5 months along so that's not recently.
4) Vendors around here are getting more slick by the day.
