I need some help...I've been debating this for awhile and cannot come to a decision, so I'm looking to all you wise Knotties for assistance.
My dress is a rather simple ballgown style with a cathedral length train. It doesn't have any embellishments such as lace, pearls, beading, overlays, etc. Just pure fabric with some nice pleats/shearing and buttons all the way down the back all the way to the end of the train. I received a free cut edge elbow length veil when I purchased my dress, but I'm considering purchasing a cathedral length veil to wear instead, and reserving the freebie veil for the reception. I also like the look of using the free veil as a blusher with the cathedral length veil attached. To get the cathedral length veil longer than the train on my dress, it would have to be something like 132". Is this overkill? Do I really need a cathedral length veil when my dress has a very long train? I like the way it looks in pics, but am not sure I want the hassle of it during the ceremony. Anyone want to recommend a veil style for my ballgown/long train dress?
TIA!!
