Shoes of Prey

Has anyone ordered their wedding shoes from http://shoesofprey.com ? If so can you fill me in on how your experience with them went? And if you're already married, how long were you able to wear them on your wedding day?

Thanks!

Re: Shoes of Prey

  • I know this is an old post, but instead of duplicating the post, I thought I'd bump it and see if anyone recently has used Shoesofprey.com?

  • I'm going to bump it too. I can't find shoes that I want elsewhere (just really simple lace with closed toes, mid heels, and size 11) and thought I might give this a go. They're not cheap though, so any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

  •  I believe @debmonn ordered her shoes from this site.
  • It turns out I have a friend back home who loves their shoes.  She convinced me to order a pair, so I did.  I'll leave a review somewhere here in case anyone is interested in the future.  They weren't any more expensive than a lot of shoes (also loved Milk and Honey, but the prices were ridiculous!) and they have a really great returns policy.

  • This is kind of interesting.  I wonder how comfortable they are.
  • Shoes of Prey were on GMA, the correspondent said they were comfortable.
  • @aggiespartan I just had a second friend tell me that she owns a ton of pairs, and they're extremely comfortable.

I didn't recognize that this was an Australian company until yesterday, when I read a little more about them on their website.  It turns out that they have a physical store now in David Jones, which is a huge department store there.  Here's the link to the David Jones blog http://blog.davidjones.com.au/Fashion/2013/01/ShoesOfPrey.  I'll definitely have to pop by when I'm in town.

I'll update you on what I think of the comfiness in about three weeks.

  • I ordered from ShoesofPrey earlier this year. I FREAKING LOVE THEM! I have short, wide feet & find it difficult to find cute, comfy shoes. I bought a pair of flats for work, and it turned out they were too tight. The process to get them returned & remade was super easy. The customer service department is FABULOUS! I honestly cannot say enough good things about them. I haven't had any blistering, chafing or pain with my flats, and I absolutely love love love them. Depending on my budget, I'm considering ordering shoes for the wedding day once I have a dress.
  • I ordered some flats to test them out.  Super cute, but I got the colored leather lining, rather than the suggested lining.  By halfway through the day I had eight blisters between both feet.  I'll definitely be wearing them around the house with socks on for a while.  Once I saw the quality of the flats though, I was satisfied to order my bridal shoes from them, so hopefully they'll arrive in the next few weeks.

  • I don't know that I would call them cheap.
  • They're not cheap shoes, but they're very reasonably priced for custom shoes.

  • For custom shoes, they're cheap. But I have three pairs and I love them.
