Dresses at TJ Maxx

I was at TJMaxx tonight and noticed that they had a number of "special occasion" dresses. I tried some on, including one that I gave serious thought to wearing as a wedding dress (I am having a small, casual non-trad wedding). It was ivory, strapless, just below the knee, pick up style skirt. Very cute! It was a size 22 but too big on me so I didn't get it. I did, however, get a navy blue v-neck, ruffled skirt dress for maybe my wedding, maybe other special occasions (NYE, someone else's wedding, etc. It was $39. and oh! The ivory dress was $15!!!!!!

In sum, if you are looking for some special occasion dresses, maybe for a MOTB, small non matching wedding party, including dresses for the plus size gals, you might check it out. Stock will vary by location, of course.

TJ Maxx definitely rocks the house :-)  I used to live next door to one before I moved into fiance's home and I haunted the place.  I found many pairs of shoes and pajamas there.  And I recently found several items for bridesmaid gifts.

  I love TJ Maxx! I got a dress there recently for $20 that I'll wear to a shower or to the RD. They also have very reasonable Easter dresses that would work for FG dresses.
