I have wanted a dress for two years. I love it. I tried it on today and I still love it. I can buy it but I would have to take the sample. Below I have listed the problem and suggested solution.
Problems and solutions:
-it's a sample dress so it's kind of dirty at the bottom underneath. (can be cleaned)
-2-3 rips in the side seam (small and easy to repair since it has to be taken in at the side seam anyway)
-One rip/slit in the front of the dress (it's heavily ruched accross the front and the slit is here and can not bee seen or noticed when the dress is on even when the dress is on a hanger. It was only noticed when the dress was not worn and I was going over it inch by inch. It could be fixed and not noticed or even left and not noticed)
-small threads in the ruching that again can not be seen unless you try to straighten the fabric out which you couldn't do while wearing the dress. (the ruching was fully sewn and the small stiches there came out so they are actually small pieces of thread 2-4)
- one small thread thing you can see.
SO that's the problem. IT has a lot wrong. BUT for 60% off the price I am still considering it. My logical side says don't do it but I really love it so half of me explains the ways this could all get fixed.
What would you do? Get the dress really cheap and fix it or not. It would not cost hundresd of dollars to fix.
