what kind of wedding band?

I am starting to look for bands and have no idea what i should get? my e ring has this curve on both sides and i think a straight across band would look funny, and a jacket might look too bulky?

Re: what kind of wedding band?

  • That's a whole lotta ring. It almost looks like it already has bands on either side, so I'd actually skip a band with a ring like that.

  • I'm having the same problem, and my engagement ring is wayyyy simpler than yours, loll! Good luck to you, whatever you decide I'm sure it will be beautiful! Don't forget to update on what you decide! Happy hunting!! :)
  • thanks!! I just saw some curved bands online, ill go to the jeweler and see what he says. He said this ring would have to get a custom band because of its shape.

  • I would go to your jeweler and get something simple and custom made.

  • You could just wear your rings European style, with the engagement ring on the right hand, and the wedding band on the left, after the wedding.

That'll free you up to wear whatever band you want, and your engagement ring.

I will have to do this because my engagement ring is a very unique family heirloom from the 1920s.  It's an ebony shield with a diamond in the center.  No way will that fit with a band on the same finger.

  • I LOVE the idea of a custom band, that makes it special and unique to you! And you can have your guy help too!! :)
