Do ya'll think i should get a ball gown (not too wide) for my backyard wedding? Do you think it will look too much?? Please help!!! Thanks

What's the formality of the wedding? If it's paper plates and bbq then it would be too much. If it's more formal, it could work. Bottom line, if you'd regret not wearing a ballgown, wear it.

Personally, I think that you should consider the overall formality of your wedding.  BUT don't let that be the be-all-end-all deciding factor.  If you feel that a ballgown is what you want and will make you feel like a beautiful bride then go for it!  

I would recommend just going to a salon and trying on at least one of every silhouette so you can decide what shape you like best on your body.  You may be surprised by what you learn in that trip.  I originally thought I wanted a big ballgown and then when I tried a couple on discovered that they totally overwhelmed me so I changed direction and ended up in a fit and flare.  But I know that lots of girls pull off ballgowns and look absolutely phenomenal in them!  It really boils down to what looks best on you and what makes you feel beautiful.  Good luck!
