I found my dress!!! -- but I didn't cry!

I suppose this is silly, but I found my dress...and am worried because I didnt cry, or really get emotional at all.  I didn't have the, "this is IT!" moment.  I know it is the dress I want, I felt amazing in it, and am so excited to wear in on my wedding day.  I suppose my anxiety comes from how you should, "traditionally" feel.  What are your thoughts?

  • I didn't cry either.  The dress was a measured decision based on price, construction, classic vs. "fad" styles, and finally how it made me feel (since the others were a factor in that).  I always wondered if I would cry, but I had spent so much time looking at hundreds of different dresses (and trying on at least 50-75) that it was more about getting down to brass tacks than waiting for some magical emotional response.  I adore my dress and think I made the right decision... but I also know I'm not going to change my mind, because even if I could afford a second dress, I'm not about to go out and go through all that again, haha.
  • Totally normal!! I didn't cry but I LOVE my dress!

  • me neither, but i really LOVE my gown, it is normal.
  • Im almost the opposite. Im not emotional whatsoever..everyone says my hearts encased in ice encased in stone lol..  but when I tried on THE dress,  it took a few minutes for the waterworks to hit. Oh and I, too, wanted to keep the dress on. :)
