Suggestions For Dress Undergarments

Hi ladies,

     I went in for my first fitting today and I could use some help.

This is a picture of my dress:

As you can probably tell, it is a fairly clingy silk charmeuse, in an off white.

I have one of those backless u-shaped stick on bras from VS for the top, but I can't seem to find something for my bottom half that doesn't leave completely VPL.  I've tried a hanky panky thong, a spanx slip and a VS bum shaper/high waisted underpants thing and they all show serious lines through.  I'm starting to consider going commando, but was wondering if any of you ladies had any suggestions for invisible panty lines.

What color have you been trying? Go for nude instead of white, and that should help. With that dress, I'd go for a nude VS thong. They have several styles that are pretty much invisible.

Sometimes if you go up a size or two, it gets rid of VPL.
