Tea Length Dress for 3pm Day Wedding?

Ladies - I am having a custom dress made by the fabulous Nato Brothers of http://www.dressmefancy.com/ . Its a combo of the Madeline from Season 2 and the Linda from Season 4 - but with a BLUE bow instead of pink - to match my blue shoes (see below). Its the top of the Madeline (cool back!) and the bottom of the Linda - with that awesome high waist that hides all flaws!

Anyway, wanted something a little less formal (e.g. not long big gown) as I am 5 ft 1' and of course, its 3pm. Thougths? Just looking for feedack. Sigh - only 88 days to GO!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Tea Length Dress for 3pm Day Wedding?

  • I personally love tea length wedding dresses, especially if you are doing something less formal or traditional.  I also think it is a great idea for those who are on the shorter side because you can still get that wedding gown poof but it won't be so overwhelming because it is shorter.

I love the shoes by the way!

  • Thank you! I also agree a shorter dress actually will NOT overwhelm a little person like me :) Why do we always feel the need for validation? Alas, I like to hear from other brides too :)

Shoes are amazing, yes? Found them on ETSY. love that site!

  • I'm also wearing a tea length gown.  So I'm probably biased.  We aren't having a formal/traditional wedding so I think it will be great!  I'm also on the shorter side only 5'4"...So i think it will look great!  :)
