Yesterday morning, FI FINALLY saw the ceremony and reception venue we had been planning on!! And he loved it! I'm so relieved. Now the next step is to contact the owner and sign a contract, and he's actually wanting to take care of it pretty soon, lol I'm so proud! No worries though, the owner doesn't have anything close to even booked for next July yet so we're still good.
Turns out the whole problem with FI and being stubborn with visiting vendors and such that I had mentioned before, seems that he has issues with doing things out of order. While we were still deciding on the venue, I figured we could save some time and start researching photographers and other vendors but he wasn't up for it whatsoever. After LOTS of discussion he finally managed to understand/ express his actual problem with the whole deal. *rolls eyes* Men sometimes. And remember when I brought up doing tastings so we could choose the caterer since we have to book the venues through them? And he said it was wayyy too early for that?? Well last week he was like "Hey why don't we do start doing tastings so we can choose the caterers and book our venue?? We should be doing that soon." Hahaha I wanted to pullll my hair out! Then I kindly reminded him that that is exactly what I told him months ago, he just says "Oh. Really?? Hmm." Hahaha! Gotta love him!
