Can you get alterations to a veil?

I would think that this was possible- but I can't seem to find anything on it in a google search.

My veil is cathedral length with a fingertip blusher and gathers from the middle. I kinda bought it on a whim when I got my dress figuring if I don't love it, I can change it. I'd like to remove the blusher since I won't be wearing one and just use the long part. But can you do that? Can  you remove the comb and put it at the end or can you cut it?

If it's edged, the edge will have to be finished in some way, but other than that it should be an easy alteration. It will need to be removed from the comb, cut down properly, and re-attached.

Yep! Your seamstress or whoever is doing the alterations should be able to do it! No problem.

I'm a little nervous since theres details on the edges. id hate to buy a new one
