Bust enhancement

I don't have a whole lot going on up top (size 34A) my dress has a sweetheart top and I'm wondering if anyone has used anything that would enhance/ push me up a bit. I might get bra pushup inserts to go into my strapless bra. Any other ideas are appreciated!

Re: Bust enhancement

  • I'm not really sure what other ideas you would be looking for :/
Sorry, I know that's not helpful.
But a good push up and extra padding should work just fine! You don't want to look like someone you're NOT on YOUR wedding day! Just enhance the ladies :)
Also, a golden shimmer/tan can help give the look you're wanting. Think, spray tan or even shimmery lotion on the ladies..  ;)
  • I've seen girls do two NuBras and a regular bra on top of that.  Don't know how comfortable that would feel....i think a push up bra with extra padding might work.  victoria's secret usually has the push up bras that creates a lot of cleavage.

  • In my experience (with two daughters, one of whom has a slug of formals she wears on a very regular basis) there are three separate ways you can go with this ...

    1) You can buy an adhesive bra like NuBra or a similar one at Target (I think they are called Fashion Forms or something and are about $25.) They look very natural and fill out dresses very nicely.

    2) A good push-up bra works wonders. Go somewhere where they help you find the right one so it fits properly and stays put!

    3) You can have your  seamstress put enhancing cups in your dress ... that way you don't have to stick anything to your actual chest and it will for sure stay put because it is sewn into the dress. The kind that really helps is thicker on the bottom, much like a push-up bra is designed. You don't need to wear a regular bra this way.

Obviously, if you  go with adhesive or sewn-in cups, I wouldn't advise going too big (probably a B) You still want to look like YOU, just with a bit bigger 'girls'!

  • Sew in cups.  You got what you got.  I wouldn't try to look too different, especially in the bust area, people will notice that your suddenly enhanced and stare.
  • I definitely still want to look like myself and I don't want it to be very obvious. I just want a little something extra. I got a strapless padded bra that doesn't really do anything. It fits well, but it doesnt push the ladies up or anytihing. So I tried some of those filler fillet things inside the bra and it helped. I just need to try it on with my dress. I've looked at Victoria's secret and they didn't have anything that worked wonders. I might go check one more time though. My first dress fitting is on July 7th so I have a little time to figure it out. I'm not sure about sewing cups into the dress...maybe i'll look into that too. Thanks everyone!
  • I got the Victoria Secret bra that adds two cup sizes. I think its called bombshell or biofit. Its the same one as the miraculous but its strapless. II absolutely LOVE it. Its so comfortable and I feel like my dress will stay up and it accentuates my itty bitty titties lol Also I recommend getting a bra fitting with VS (free) because the right size makes it so much more comfortable. I was wearing a whole cup size too small.

  • I bought a push-up bra and my seamstress sewed the cups right in.  With the corset back, it definitely helped!  (I am 34A, too).

  • Victoria's Secret Miraculous.
They aren't lying when they say it adds 2 cup sizes.  I have 2 but I don't wear them too often as they make my Cs look extra ginormous!!
  • Thanks everyone! I think I'll go back to VS tomorrow and look again...they must have something that would do the trick!
