Dress confusion : /

Ok so I went dress shopping yesterday! I tried on 7 dresses... I really loved number 3 but the boning showed and the  alterations said there was nothing to do to make that go away so I kept trying on more dresses. SO I got to the fifth dress and i LOVED it also. I tried it on with a veil and started to cry histerically... SO I said this has to be the one because no other dress made me cry. So i purchased the dress. But not I cant stop thinking about the other dress. What does this mean?? AM I just being a worry wart?  The dresses give me totally different shapes. One is a fit and flare and the other is an A-line... I mean I am hoping once i get the dress in ivory rather than the white i tried on and it is altered to hug my curves I will know I made the right choice... BUT in the mean time I am freaking... I need someone to tell me I am not nuts...lol

It's very common to have doubts, especially when you've decided between two dresses. But keep in mind that the boning on the other dress made it unacceptable--so you're really not deciding between two dresses at all, just eliminating until you got to the right one.

Focus on the things that made you love your dress. And you're right, it really will be perfect after alterations. My dress didn't really start to feel like mine until after it was fitted to my body.

I think you made the right choice, especialy if the dress you bought doesn't have obvious glaring flaws (beyond normal alterations) like the other dress you liked. My sister and my BFF both like my second favorite dress more than the one I was in love with and I am glad I went with my choice; the other dress had two seams down the front of the skirt that I could seem to stop focusing on and would have driven me nuts. My advice: go with your gut and stop second guessing yourself. Also: stop looking at dresses. GL and I'm sure you will look beautiful.

Don't worry, when you go back for your fitting you'll know you made the right choice!

thank you all for your support. I agree with all of you. After posting this it helped me a lot. I needed to vent to fellow pople who understand what I am going through. SO thanks a bunch. I have a little over a year to go and I am already like ahhh... lol. I have alot done though. I am just trying to find a venue... Its hard where I live because it is all beachy and we dont want an outdoor or church wedding... So things are limited. So that is where my cnfusion is now.lol
