Color Crazy!

Alright ladies, I'm new here & I'm newly engaged, so I have LOTS running through my mind right now. I've always known that I want my wedding to be outside & I've always known that I wanted to use green in my wedding. A light green, like a sage. But I'm now starting to re-think using just ONE color. I want to use some sort of accent color but I'm not sure what would look best. I thought of a salmon pink, but then again I'm not a 'pink' type of girl. Then I thought of brown or teal. I'm just having all kinds of ideas & now I'm wondering if the sage green would even go with anything. I know I want the guys in tan suits, vs black tuxedos. I don't want the dark black contrast in the pictures. I know, I know... I'm all over the place. If you have any color ideas that I didn't mention, please share. :) Thanks so much!

    Agree with Duds.  Brown would look great as an accent to sage/light green, or champagne.

    As you really start planning, and booking venue and buying your dress and BM dresses, it will come together and not feel so scattered.  :)  I felt like that too when I first started planning.

    Think about the vibe that you want for a wedding.   I knew I wanted a traditonal timeless vibe so I chose traditional colors.  

    Do you want a romantic vibe?  Sage green dresses with salmon pink flowers and tan suits is very romantic with touches of lace and pearls. 

    Do you want a modern vibe?  Sage green dresses with accents of teal and tan suits is very modern because of the high contrast colors.  At great geometric shapes (stripes and polka dots) and you have a fun modern vibe.  

    Whatever your final choice, make it yours and his and it will be beautiful.

    I like the idea of champagne better. I don't know about brown, but maybe I'm just not picturing it right. I feel like with a sage green, there should be something a little lighter. So I vote for champagne. Either way, it'll all start coming together eventually! =) Congrats on your engagement.

    I voted pink but admit I'm biased as our colors are pink and green.

    I don't like the pink but I do like the champagne idea and maybe a cream color. I think sage, champagne, and cream would be fabulous... also loving the tan suit idea :)

    Champaign would we great with sage.  You could also add touches of copper or gold if like metallic elements.
