Veil or no veil?

I"m at a loss as to whether I want to wear a veil or not.

Do you want to? Do you think you look good in one? It's really a case by case thing. You don't have to, but many people want to (I am, I know several women here who aren't)

I really don't know. I found one that I like but I'm really just not sure.

I wore one for my first wedding.   It was simple and I loved the way it looked.  However, outdoor wedding + wind + veil = frustration!!!   And funny pictures.  

For the second wedding I did without one.  Ten years later I just wasn't that into it.  I did a jeweled comb in my hair and felt amazing.  

It's all a matter of personal preference.  Maybe see if you can try veils on with your dress and see how you feel.  You can always buy an inexpensive one and make a game-time decision:-)

It's really up to you and how you envision yourself. I probably not gonna wear a traditional veil. I want a rhinestone comb or headband.

I didn't wear a veil.  My mother was a bit horrified at first, but outside over the ocean was going to be windy enough.  I put fresh orchids in my hair instead and loved it.

I initially told everyone heck no on a veil. I didn't like the idea or the "symbol" but then my aunt and grandmother made a good point that it's really just for a few pretty pictures, you take it off for the reception so you have pics with and without, and when are you going to wear a veil agian?? 

I'm glad I wore one.. it was simple and small, nothing dramatic, but it made for some great shots like these

 that I am SOOO happy with. Totally your decision, but that was one "pressure" i am glad I gave into.

What kind of wedding dress do you plan to wear? Do you have any pictures? I think it depends on the dress style.
