Dress Anxiety

I ordered my dress about 2 months ago and have been having a lot of anxiety about the decision.  The first time I tried the dress on I got teary eyed and had this vision of my Wedding day.  The next time I tried the sample on was when I went back to purchase it.  I didn't have the same feeling as the first time and was worried.  I think I was so nervous since I knew I would be purchasing the dress that day.  I haven't tried it on since (the dress shop is over an hour away).  My dress won't come in for another 2 months.  As I look at pictures of the dress I worry about having made the right decision.  I wonder if the dress looks as good on me as I first thought.  I saw many other dresses along the way that I liked, but knew that I would be settling.  This dress was the only one that gave me that special feeling and I was ready to purchase that day.  Is this anxitey and doubt a normal reaction?  I thnk it might just be the anxiety of waiting for my dress to come in.  Tell me what you think about my feelings and your opinion of the dress if you don't mind.  I think I need some unbiased help!

I'm constantly second guessing myself, so it was (and still is) difficult for me to be 100% satisfied without overanalyzing every little thing about my wedding dress. Just try to focus on other things until it arrives.

One thing that has helped me is that I try not to think about if its "the one", because if I think about it like that, I think I will constantly be thinking that it isn't. Best of luck

I think it looks great!! Once it comes in and you can try it on again you'll probably be totally fine. In the meantime, try not to go crazy over it! I know it's so hard not to think about it lol, but you'll look gorgeous!

I think it's totally normal and you'll feel better once you're able to try it on as your own. I've felt like that both times I've been back to try on my dress. I see it on the hanger and I doubt myself. But then when I put it on,  I remember why I loved it to begin with! Once it's your own, I think you'll feel much better about it

I had the same feeling after I ordered my dress in champage. but once i got it and put it on i remembered y it was mine and i loved it!!!
