Slips and Crinolins

My dress is chiffon and flowy and I love the look it gives, but a friend brought up the point that while walking down the aisle, it might go in between and around my legs and make it difficult to walk and end up looking bad.  I hadn't thought of this (especially, since we're getting married outside, if there is a breeze or some wind, I think her point is pretty valid!).

Has anyone ever worn a slip or crinoline with that sort of material (it's just like loose chiffon from under the bust to the floor (but it's 2 thin layers)...what could I wear underneath that wouldn't change the flowiness but that would keep the dress from getting caught between my legs???

Check wth the salon where you bought the dress, see what their suggestion may be. Personally I wouldnt put crinoline under chiffon, but a thin slip may help.

    I do see her point.

  • My dress consultant calls it "bridal pants" when the dress goes between your legs while you walk.  I thought that was funny.
