Bridesmaids Shoes and Accessories

Hello,

I am getting married in mid August and I still don't know what shoes and accessories I should get for my girls.

I personally like the first pair of shoes better- and I think silver shoes is a good idea so the girls can wear them again

Why can't you just let them pick out their own silver shoes?

Did you show the girls these shoes?  I personally don't like either of them.  I also really don't like DB shoes because they're expensive for what they are and I find them very uncomfortable.  I think letting them pick their own shoes in silver would be the best way to go and it could also save your girls some money.  No one will even notice their shoes besides you (I don't even know what shoes my girls were wearing).

I'm not a fanof either of those shoes, and would be upset as your friend that you're making me by a dress and shoes I probably won't even wear again.

Why not let them choose their own silver shoes? They don't have to be so matchy matchy.

Yes, let them pick out their own silver shoes.  My experience with DB shoes has not been good.  The girls can find cheaper, more comfortable shoes elsewhere.

Shoes are really personal...I would let them pick their own shoes in silver. 

A bride had me buy a pair of shoes from DB and I never wore them again.  They were $55 and had to be dyed to match.  So uncomfortable.

Just let them pick their own.  A dress can be altered to fit and doesn't cause physical pain if the fit is wrong.  Shoes?  Not so much.

As far as accessories, that's such a small detail that it won't even show up in the photos.  I have no idea what jewelry my girls wore.  So you'd also be better off just letting them choose their own.

Are you aware that that second pair of shoes only goes up to size 4?  They're flower girl shoes.

I recommend letting them choose their own silver shoes.

I like the first pair better, but you should let them pick their own shoes since foot pain is not something you want them to be dealing with on the wedding day!  Just remind them that they may have trouble with the grass so they can pick their shoes accordingly.

My girls are wearing silver shoes with peony colored tea-length dresses.  I told them silver and let them do their own thing from there.  Each person's foot is different and a heel that one girl can wear, another one may not like or feel very unsteady in.  My girls' feet will definitely be seen in tea-length dresses, but matching shoes doesn't matter to me at all.
