Opinions on this dress for formal wedding!

Do you think this is formal enough for a cathedral/historical venue? General thoughts? The sash comes seperatly, will probably get it in ivory.

    It is certainly formal enough!  It is beautiful and very timeless, which will look great in a historic venue.  In fact, I am also getting married in a formal wedding and a historic venue, and my dress is similar.  :) But I swear I'm not biased.
    I think the belt in ivory will be more timeless than a contrasting color.
