Tape for a scratchy dress?

I had a consultant at a bridal shop tell me that there was a "tape" that you put directly on your arms if your beaded gown was scratching you. They didn't sell it, nor could she tell me anything more about it.

Anyone have any idea what this is, or where to get it?

I don't know where to tell you to get it but whatever you have to do, find a solution.  My senior prom dress caused me to rub my under arms raw and caused so much discomfort that night.  Ouch!

I'd ask your seamstress. My dress has a jeweled halter and the back of it irritates my neck to high heaven so I'm having it lined.
