madeinchina.com, is it a scam?

i ordered a wedding dress a month ago from madeinchina.com.  starting to think it is a scam and after a little research i have more evidence that it is.  has anyone ordered from this site before or known others who have?

It's definitely a knock off site.  If you would have asked us we would have told you not to buy from a knock off site.

I think with a name like 'madeinchina' it should be obvious. Hopefully your dress arrives and is decent

Start looking for a new dress.  I am so sorry to hear you've fallen victim to these sites. If your dress arrives at all, I fear you will be appalled at the condition.  

ETA:  Here is what you likely have to expect:  your dress will arrive and you'll be shocked by the poor condition it's in.  You'll call the company demanding your money back. They won't respond to you at all (or will respond by giving you the run around) until after 14 days or whatever the money-back-guarantee time period is.  Call your credit card company immediately and put a stop payment/hold on the transaction. That's literally your only chance at this point.

Remember that your credit card or bank will always back you up. Hopefully you have ime for a new dress. Don't let anyone make you feel bad, it happens. Just fight it, your disputes will either be fraud or condition of item. Good luck!
