Okay so I am asking this after reading a post last night about a girl questioning white tablecloths with her ivory dress.
I was told from Men's Warehouse that if my dress is ivory-the men are not allowed to wear white shirts-any shirt should be ivory so my dress wouldn't appear dingy (they said same goes for the table linens, guests, etc.) On the post last night someone said that they don't know what they're talking about.
So my dress is a Maggie Sottero -ivory in color (if you know her ivory-I personally think it looks lighter than your normal ivory.) The bridesmaid's dresses are Victorian Lilac & originally we were going to have the men wear matching purple shirts-would this look weird? Or should they wear ivory-or white? I'm a little confused now..and FI's shirt-does the color matter either?
