In your opinion, how much is TOO much to pay for a wedding dress?
I know that it probably depends on individual budgets and what kind of dress you want, but I picked out a dress recently, and I'm showing it to my mom tonight. She asked the price beforehand because she said she wanted to buy my dress, and I told her it's $1700. She balked at the price. It's my dream dress, so I told her that I would be glad to make up the difference on the price, and she seemed fine with that. However, now I'm starting to wonder $1700 is too expensive for a wedding dress.
I'm sure that everyone will have different opinions on this, and I'm curious what you ladies think.
