I ordered a dress from Gothique Bridal and wanted to share my experience/review.
I ordered a wedding dress from Gothique Bridal back in May (2011). They were very responsive at first. I had contacted the seller prior to placing my order and asked if I would be able to receive a dress in time for my wedding, which is in December (2011). I was partly worried as the company is based in the UK and I live in the US. I was told that receiving the dress in time would be no problem since I was ordering it so early.
I placed my order and was informed that the dress would arrive in mid-August (2011) and that I would be getting a tracking number when it was placed in the mail. I received no communication after that. Mid-August arrived and I had received no dress or tracking number. I emailed Gothique Bridal on August 18th and received no response. Emailed them again on August 30th and got a very short email saying that the dress would be delivered by the end of September. My dress still had not shown up by the end of September. My fiance and I have both emailed Gothique Bridal since then and have gotten no responses. We did finally open a dispute and are attempting to get our money back. Although my wedding is not for another two months, I feel that my fiance and I have been more than patient with the seller. I am a little worried that she has missed both deadlines (which she set for herself) and do not want to be left panicking about whether or not I will have a dress in time as my wedding date draws closer.
I would not recommend this seller and I hope that this review has helped anyone who might have been looking into purchasing from Gothique Bridal.
Note: I have visited the website recently and noticed that it says it is under new management. However, the contact email and name provided on the website belong to the last person I spoke with in August.
