I am thinking of wearing a red wedding dress...
I was wondering, how hard do you think it would be to have a dress profesionally dyed red?
Do you think it would cost more or less?
There are a lot of designer dresses I love, so I'd like to buy one and then talk to someone about getting it dyed red.
However, are all fabrics dyeable?
Is there a way to find that out?
I know a lot of bridal salons won't do that... but I'm willing to pay top dollar to find one that will dye a dress red. [I saw on Say Yes To The Dress that at Kleinfeld they arranged for a designer to dye a dress red!!! I will probably go there...]
I have tried to find red dresses but alot of them where cheap/not designer/ugly [lol]
I've only found a few that were already red, like a gorgeous reem acra gown.
So basically my question is:
Are all fabrics dyeable? Do I just need to find a place willing to dye a dress?
Where can I find out what fabrics are and are not dyeable?
Is it just a matter of negotiating with a designer if possible or...
Also if anyone knows where I can find a website with photos of celebrities or runway models in red designer gowns, that'd be helpful
