Navy Suits

The response to my earlier post (link below)...

...was that I should think about light suits or navy.  I am thinking that I want to stick with navy, since it seems more traditional and more in line with what I envision.  So, now I trying to figure out the detials of the navy suit.  What color shirt and tie?  As a reminder, there is only one male attendant and I think I want both him and my fiance dressed the same (i.e. same tie color).

All the other attire aspects of this wedding has been easy for me to come up with ideas, but for some reason the men's attire ideas have been so few.

  • White shirt, white tie? (I think it's fine for him to have a white shirt even if you wear ivory.)
  • Men's "Ivory" is MUCH  MUCH darker than most "Ivory" gowns. Every where I've read is for guys to wear white shirts even if the women have "ivory" or diamond white dresses.

    We're doing navy suits with a faint pinstripe, white shirts, and some form of a yellow and navy tie. Here it is with my BM dress:
