Dessy Bridesmaid dress and Mens Warehouse suits...how to coordinate, do they have to match the same

Bridesmaid dresses will be from Dessy and After6 but the groomsmen are going to Mens Warehouse. Will it look tacky if the mens purple vests and ties are a different shade of purple? My wedding is purple and green...should the men wear green so I dont have to worry about matching the two purples? Anyone have any pictures of different shades of a color used in a wedding party like this? Thank you!

I think you're overthinking this, but I know where you're coming from. For what it is worth, when I'm at a wedding, I don't notice whether or not the bridesmaids match the groomsman or not. But, I have seen weddings where the groomsman are in one color vest and the bridesmaids are in another color and I've always thought that looked cool.

Ps: Great color choice! Those are my wedding colors too!

Classic black vests with black tuxes is also an option. The purple BM dresses will look nice against it, and no one will think your bridal party is going to prom.

Yeah...  don't stress out about stuff like this, or you won't make it to your wedding day with your sanity.

Nobody is going to notice if the shades of purple are a little different.

Or no vests. We went through Men's Warehouse and just didn't do vests. The guys looked very classy, I didn't have to worry about matching, and it was cheaper for them.

This is how I ended up with several shades of purple at my wedding and it ended up just fine.

My mens ties were Aubergeine from Dessy and my MOH wore Lapis from DB's. Our bouquets had at least 5 shades of purples and I think it turned out beautiful.

I don't think you have to worry that much about it, as long as it is close. BUT if you are concerned, order a swatch from Dessy so when you finalize the mens's picks you can bring it. I dont think the swatch is that much
