What do you all think about finding a designer gown at a bridal salon and purchasing it for less on the internet?

A friend of mine did this.  She bought her gown at www.pearlsplace.com. Just make sure the place you order from is reputable.

And make sure you know what their return policy is! Some places will give you the run-around on things like this.

If you know for sure the site is reputable and they are in fact the same dress you saw/tried on in the store (not a cheap knockoff) then its fine. I would recommend trying it on in the store that has it to be sure you like it, check online for reviews on the site, and also check the return policy as PP mentioned.

Agree with PP. Some other reputable sites are netbride.com, Jay's Bridal, and RK Bridal.

Most of these places (like most bridal salons) don't allow returns.  I know for sure Jay's Bridal doesn't.

I just bought BM dresses at www.cutieclothes.com! They have amazing dresses there! They also have adorable flower girl dresses too! They are definately a trustworthy site to order from i would recommend it to anyone!
