Opinions re: accessories for hair

For my second wedding I will be breaking the norm.. and wearing dark purple long gown.  I plan to accessorize with silver bling necklace/ bracelet etc.  I am wondering what to do with my hair ... it is short, so will not be doing an updo or anything, but thinking about putting a flower in it.  If so... what colour flower?   (I am dark blonde).  Thanks all for your help/opinions!

I vote headband/ribbon either in a shade of purple or gray/silver

I love whtie and purple together!  Plus, a big white flower could be like a nod to the absence of the white wedding dress.

PS I love that you're not wearing white!  This is my first wedding and I kept loving the pink dresses, but ended up going white and restyling my mother's.

Thanks all! All Good ideas, and  I really like the link to the gray/silver flower.  Yes, I tried on a dozen white dresses, that washed me completely out, and we put on the purple, and I said, "That's the one!"    I'll be setting a trend that's for sure.

 I think a silver/gray flower would be beautiful. If you're going for more realistic, an ivory flower would be pretty.
